- The Earth and the moon (summary of the notebook).
- Label the parts of the Earth: atmosphere, hydrosphere, geosphere (crust, mantle and core).
Label and draw the Equator, the Greenwich meridian,  the North and South Poles and the Northern and Southern hemispheres. (Drawing on the notebook).
- Name the eight planets of the Solar system.

Main mistakes: 

- Rodea un ejemplo de "toponymy":
  Casi todos los alumnos redondearon un ejemplo de "Key" (leyenda) en vez de toponymy que son         palabras que se pueden encontrar en un mapa.

- "Escribe los nombres de los continentes y los océanos. Colorea los continentes con colores                   diferentes.
   Algunos alumnos colorearon los continentes de distintos colores pero no escribieron los nombres.

- Errores en spelling.
  Ejemplo: Sauz en vez de South.
                 Fisical map en vez de Physical map.

  



ENGLISH EXAM (Friday, 19th October)

- Vocabulary pages 10, 12 (CB).
- Dictation: "At the museum".

- How often and adverbs of frequency.

Main mistakes: 

- Present Simple:
  Example: "Does she eats?".
  Right answer: "Does she eat?".

  Right answer: "The dog doesn't eat fish".

Main mistakes: 

- Age:
   Example: "In Spain, all  children have to go to school when they are six years".
   Right answer: "In Spain, all  children have to go to school when they are six years old".
   Right answer: "In Spain, all  children have to go to school when they are six".

- Vocabulary of the unit:
   Example: "put the table", "do the bed".
   Right answer: "Set the table", "make the bed".

- "do a lot of noise"
    Right answer: "make a lot of noise".

-  Use capital letters instead of lowercase letters in the middle of a sentence:
   Example: Complete the sentence: At break time, we play in the Playground.
   Right answer: "At break time, we play in the playground".




NATURAL SCIENCE UNIT 1 (Thursday, 4th October)

Main mistakes: 

- "that" at the beginning of the sentence.
   Example: that vertebrates have skeletton.
   Right answer: Vertebrates have skeletton.


- Lots of pupils didn't write the examples.
  Example: What does oviparous mean? Write an example.
                  Viviparous animals grow inside their mother's belly.
Right answer: Viviparous animals grow inside their mother's belly. Example: dogs.

- Capital letters and full stops in sentences!
  Example: What's the difference between aquatic animals and land animals?
                  aquatic animals live in the water and land animals live on dry land
  Right answer: Aquatic animals live in the water and land animals live on dry land.
